Re: Round 3 NSW Moto Trials Championship

Hi all, No disrespect to anyone, because I think the clubs and organisers do fantastic work at a considerably low cost =D> But from what I can gather the major issue here is attracting more riders and keeping the old riders in the sport ie. more entries. * So straight away how can any club not offer...

Re: Baptism of fire

Most girls wear thongs these days....from what i've been told. Maybe I should leave that one alone since this story is PG  But yes I did ride the parade in my pink "flip flops", I am not the most organised person... Appologies to anyone who has been reading this thread for taking so...

Re: Baptism of fire

Thursday Day 4 I was really sick when I got up on thursday and quite frightened. I knew it was typically a hard day on Thursday because the loop is long and it crosses Rannoch moore. We headed down to the paddock at 9.30 expecting a 10.17 start and knowing that I needed to swap my rear wheel. I sent...

Re: Baptism of fire

Wednesday Day 3 I wasn't away until 11.03 on Wednesday but I found myself hanging from the fence of Parc Ferme at 10 'chafing at the bit'. I had a fair amount of maintenance to do and couldn't wait to get back behind the handlebars - was certain that I would have a much better day :D First up I swap...

Re: Baptism of fire

OK, since day one turned into a bit of a novel, I am going to try and condense the rest to just the exciting bits (trouble is I thought it was all pretty exciting :D ) Tuesday Day 2 Tuesday for me was a late start so I wasn't away until 11:49. In the half hour work time I was able to change the ther...

Baptism of fire

On the back of all the interest from my recent trip to Scotland I have decided to start this thread to tell my story... Since it was my first experience with the SSDT I can't comment on it's severity except to say that the organisers said it was one of the toughest and talk in the field was "th...

Re: Australian Womens Championship

Hi all, With the season about to kick off again thought I might try and give this thread another kick in the guts... Mostly just interested in the womens side of things and trying to develop and encourage the already existing womens class (so for all other arguements ie veterans and extra classes I ...

Re: Australian Womens Championship

Everyone I have spoken to or herd from has basically said the same thing... That the level is too high... I think the logistics involved in trying to run more then one line for a class is probably going to make it confusing for officials and observors, does anyone know whether we can do it within MA...
