Re: GG Rookie / Cadet - Loud Exhaust

Thanks Graham - yep, burnt all of the carbon off with a gas torch and gave it a good hit with a wire brush when I did it last I'm thinking that maybe I was a bit over zealous with how tightly I wrapped the matting. Seems that maybe the loose 'fluff' might give a better result. I probably need to giv...

GG Rookie / Cadet - Loud Exhaust

Hi. Been a bit quiet in here! Looking for some tips on how to make my son's Gas Gas TXT 80 exhaust / muffler quieter. I have repacked the muffler with the normal muffler packing matt and it was better for a few rides, but quickly went back to what I would describe as obnoxiously loud for such a smal...

Re: Fork tube repairs

As gasgasman mentions, for minor scratches, you can get away with filling with an epoxy or even nail polish and sanding smooth with very fine grade wet and dry.

There are plenty of places around that can do re-chroming, but I don't know how cost effective it is.

Trials in Victoria - MV vs AMA

Hi all. Looks like there is some debate on whether Victorian trials clubs and events will be sanctioned by the State Controlling body (Motorcycling Victoria). I currently hold both an AMA membership and a MV restricted license. But my MV license will expire soon, so wondering whether I should bother...

Re: Lanyard Wiring - 2007 Sherco

OK, I did try Repco and Autobarn for a plug with no luck. I'll see if the auto specs have something.

Lanyard Wiring - 2007 Sherco

Hey all. I have an older Sherco 2.9 that I am hoping to do some club level stuff on. I have a magnetic lanyard ready to go, but not too sure how to wire it in? The bike still has the standard switch block for lights/kill switch and a horn? I found this via Google. It's an earlier bike, but should be...
