Re: What actually happens at an Observed Trial

It's not hard to complie with the requirements. I have no doubt you prepare your bike to a level that you feel it is mechanically sound and safe to ride. The scrutineering just makes sure you have prepared the bike properly. Effective brakes, sound bearings, tight spokes that sort of thing and lanya...

Re: What actually happens at an Observed Trial

Normally the first order of the day would be putting the bike through scrutineering to make sure it is in good condition and safe to use. Re: Magazine Articles

The riders must have found that obstacle a bit easy. On the night they had a similar pallet set-up in the middle of the arena that was a lot bigger and had vertical step ups. Had to have a bit of a chuckle reading that article at the lack of political correctness back then when the author referred t...

Re: Magazine Articles

Who's that skinny looking bloke on the TY mono riding over the pallets? I'm thinking it's Qld legend and '85 Oz champ Steve Hope but I could be wrong, sure looks like him though. That is Steve Hope, the riding gear and Nolan helmet is identical to what he wore back then. There was an english Yamaha...

But,,,,,,, it would be possible for them (MA/Q) to actually promote trials by introducing a rule that requires a new...

Re: Condamine River Ride

Hi Billy. The ride will definatly be going ahead just the route may change a little. The radar is showing rain down near the border and they close the road through Toonumbar Forest if it gets too wet. I have an alternate strategy just in case so the ride won't be affected

Re: Importing late model secondhand competition bikes hurts everybody.

Anyone who knows Paul, knows the work he does to promote the sport in Australia (sponsoring riders, events, organizing trials, improving the sport, providing technical help, running trials training, setting sections, the list goes on) It wouldn't make sense for him to attempt to hurt the sport or t...
