Final Drive Ratios

Hi Everyone, Here's an example of why one off projects take so long. I need to fit the footpegs in a different position to std. I got some pegs and mounts from a Suzuki DRZ250. I wanted to have a couple of options for height. I made brackets with two sets of holes, 20mm apart. First thing, do they c...

Re: Basket Cases

Hi Everyone, This is the new lower frame section. It bends around the swingarm and tuck into the cavity in the back of the motor between the oil pump and kick started housings. It's made from two pieces of 20x20 RHS so it's stronger than a piece of 20x40 due to the extra internal stiffeners. Very in...

Re: 250 Scorpa 2017 for sale

I can not add any more photos. You will have to come around an look at it with your cash. More pics... I wonder if your just wasting my time? Or are you serious? None of my business but Mount Torrens South Australia to Oakleigh is an Eight and a half hour drive! Is it that hard to give extra photos?

Re: Basket Cases

Hi Everyone, This is the tube I bent to suit. You can see the jig I made to locate the swingarm pivot to the rear engine mounts That is a nice radius bent on Chrome Moly tube Brent, all but 1 of my :suzuki RL 250s came with a broken or repaired frame in that area. My nicest most original one came to...

Re: Trials in Victoria - MV vs AMA

Hi Everyone, Who cares? They have a buckloads of fee increases before they even get close to MA licence Without pressure and competition from AMA , MA would continue on its merry way oblivious to the fact that their fees structures and charges was making it very difficult for lots of clubs and new r...

Re: Basket Cases

Hi Everyone, Well there is something weird there but I'm only guessing what it is. In the photo with the front wheel on the left side of the photo, there is something on the grass under the little end of the conrod and maybe partly under the front tyre that doesn't look like part of a TY. My guesses...

Re: Basket Cases

Hi Everyone, ....... I'm yet to find a way to remove the remaining chrome plating so I can make them look nice. Here are photos of what I'm on about. David, just thinking outside the box, can the chrome plating process be reversed? What I mean is if it is a positive charged consumable transferred to...
