Hi.. Warren, its hard to believe it was 4 years ago when I posted the pic of #102, its still sitting in my garage, I havent touched it since I posted the pic, I will have to get it up to my resto guy and get it done, I will keep you up to date with the progress.. thanks

Im starting to sell off dozens of spare parts to suit TY250A & B models, most of the parts are new, only a few second hand.. I will buy or trade on a NOS (brand new) TY250A fuel tank if anyone has one ??? Search TY250 on ebay or email me here.. Col..

Ben.. Did you find the info you needed for your TY250, Im not far from you and could help with TY info if you get stuck, I use a local mechanic in Maroochydore, hes really good, call Jay at Redline M/Cycles.. Col.

Hi Shane.. There were approx 18600 TY250A models made, the early ones were scattered between Australia and NZ, the early ones came with the mph speedo, however, as yours in in the 3000's, it will have come with a kph speedo.. Hi.. Yes yours is a TY250A model, its #11816 off the production line making it a 1974 model, if I can help with any other questions, just drop me a line back..

Just had a look at your 250B restoration photos, youve done a good job, I have the restored 250B currently on ebay.. I may be able to help you with some NOS B parts if you get stuck, I have the odd one floating around here..

Oh its true alright, not the prettiest one Ive seen but the matching numbers are there for all to see, Ive been playin with TY's for longer than I care to remember, so after 30 years of lookin, I guess the odds are that I would find it one day :-) Even the Yamaha Museum have emailed me..
