Another Rider! 8) Welcome. For $4500 you should be able to get a very good condition 2004 model bike. If you like the Mont, or Sherco, then get one of those! O:) I belive that the Montessa build quality is exceptional, I don't know much about the sherco's of the time. Happy hunting, Chris.

Hi Tim. It's good that you have got the feel of hopping the back wheel, as that is often the best skill for opening up the tight areas in a trial. I am, however, a bit concerned that you find the front MORE difficult to hop. The front should be enormously easier. I assume that you have the suspensio...

Hi Richard. Repacking your muffler is no bid deal, and certainly worth while. Benefits inclued lower emmissions, Proper engine perrformance, better sounds, and if you get it really hot one day (blast along the road), it won't catch fire! I would recommend around every 50 hours riding, for a ...

Now that you sound fairly happy with that, I cannot stress the value of getting on non-ideal surfaces, a rocky cr...

Thanks Howard, When I can hold that stationary/slow moving wheelie, I’ll invest in the Compo licence. Neo you mean like this: http://www.trialscentral.com/user_photos/andy/2005/world/usa/video/Freixa_Hop.wmv Just to compete in clubman? ^(=)^ ^W^ I know that the standard is a bit higher on t...

Boot Sizes

I recently bought some Gaernes from kal at kdmototrials. :thumb: I know that generally that sizing chart is right, but the gaernes are at least half a size bigger. Now I ride with inner soles and a liner sock, which, as it turns out is a really good way to go!. Anyway just a heads up not to order wi...

Hi all. Often I find that as I tire I begin to put too much weight on the bars, because with the leverage you get through the bars it is intuitively easer to correct the bike. This is a huge mistake. particularly for practice it is important to really make sure that you are using your feet to move t...
