Re: Triple clamps TY250A

Hi Simon. It is all up to you. If you`re happy leaving it there then leave it but if you`re like the rest of us and a bit anal about how your bike looks then get it welded up. You are the one who has to decide. Graham.

Re: Old noob

Hi John. Welcome to the forums. They are a really good thing as you can ask anything and usually get an answer. It might not be the answer you want but it will be an answer. All of the clubs in QLD are very welcoming to any new members and everyone will help you out. All of the QLD clubs are listed ...

Re: 87 Fantic 243 Professional Flywheel

Hi Kyle. If you can`t find one over here there is a Trials specific wrecker in England. I can`t remember the name of his business but I think his name is Richard Allen or Allan. He is on Facebook so his name often comes up on the Hard to find Twinshock and Aircooled Mono page. Have a look on there. ...

Re: Basket Cases

I can remember when the hot setup on any dirt bike was a set of plastic levers and some new hex grips! Both would have to be the worst things ever made I reckon. The hex grips were very big and not round and the plastic levers felt horrible and they broke very easily. I tried them both once for a ve...

Re: Basket Cases

So David, can I enter my Sherpa in this clutch pull competition? There is a big difference between those two levers. I know which one I`d prefer. That`s why I still stick with the Amals on all of my :Bultaco: s. Much better leverage.

Re: Mick Andrews

I also liked that video but the one after it was brilliant. Same trial but the 2016 one which was a Charles Coutard tribute. Some really nice old bikes and old riders still showing us how it is done. Graham.

There are quite a few photos up on the Western Districts Trials Club Facebook page Billy. The page is under the name I typed in. Have a look. Graham.

Re: Great Youtube Vids for Newbies

Hi from QLD Dr Peter. Our club (WDTC) has run a few Gate Trials now and they are a lot of fun and they are completely different to a normal trial. We run them with a possible 11 points in every section so we can use a normal score card which if you add up the 0,1,2,3 and 5 adds up to 11. We are hopi...
