HANGING UP THE BOOTS

After 20 years of trials riding in the UK at expert level and 40 years riding in Australia, reaching A grade for a short and painful spell, I've decided that at 74 years of age its time to "hang up the boots,. I campaigned my Tiger Cub in classic class for 20 years and its good to see the ...

Re: Hello from Gold Coast

Hi Martymonster Welcome to the TY Yamaha fold. There's a wealth of knowledge on this site and many others regarding our trusty TY's so don't be shy to ask questions. I have a few at the moment including 175's and 250's and seem to do more restoring these days than riding but at 74 years of age its p...

Re: Basket Cases

Hi Folks
Can I ask the experience of anyone who has respoked a trials wheel one spoke at a time.

Is it a no no or can it be achieved successfuly one at a time.
I know the fundementals of how it works but never attempted it.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers

Re: TY175 Right side crankcase

Hi Wil
Sorry to hear of your problems but I can help with the crankcase right hand side.
I have several sets of Ty175 crankcases and I can either sell you a right hand or you can buy a matching pair.
Let me know, either on here or message me through the private message system.
Cheers

Re: The beginning of a new project

This is the start of my latest restoration and its gonna be for me. Judging where its kept at the moment I doubt if it will ever see mud, water or dust. As bad as its been with the CV19 restrictions it enabled us to fix a few problems on our bikes and probably restored a lot of enthusiasm. Attached...
