Cota 247

So...after a previous attempt to get into trials in Brisbane with an RL250, I'm going to have another go now that I'm living in Launceston. I've picked up a nice cota 247, which only seems to need a brake and clutch cable. Speed and Sport seem to have a decent range of parts, any other suppliers I s...

Re: rl250 rear hub

Thanks mate, it looks like I'm sorted. I did look into the other options you mentioned and most of them had cush drive hubs.

Re: TY175 Basket Case

Most, if not all of those parts are available through ebay and the like, and you'll save a motza over genuine. Re: What bike to buy

I'm in Brisbane. There always seems to be one or two for sale on gumtree or ebay. If you find one interstate you should see if someone on here might be able to help out with transport before you give up on it.

Re: What bike to buy

I just recently moved my son up from an oset 20 that he grew out of. I can definitely recommend the osets as a great bike and almost zero maintenance for dad. My son never really got into his though, i think maybe because of the lack of engine noise? They're probably easier to come by than the petro...

Re: rl250 smoking suddenly

Thanks David, its definitely white smoke and doesn't smell like premix. I think you've confirmed my initial thought. Looks like I'm splitting the cases with the first trials event of the year fast approaching!
