Second Class awards were presented tonight by Edinburgh & District MCC to:

#255 Graham Peace - NSW - MRS :sherco 300 Position 164th 439 Points lost

#222 Andrew Tarrant - SA - JLI :beta 250 Position 209th 779 Points lost

270 riders started the trial

Could try Devcon epoxy resin (like engineering grade Araldite) - secret is to ensure you take off the sharp chrome edges, and thoroughly degrease with acetone or similar before you put it on - use something like an icypole stick, or toothpick - take off the high spots when 80% cured and then polish ...

I've had a few TY Monos over the years (350S, 250R & 250R Pinkies & still have a good original Pinky that I rode in SA B grade until last year - my one has a shorter Yamaha Alloy kickstart - many of the 250's had these so you might be able to find one on ebay etc - they are much easier to us...

I've had several 250 & 350 monos over past 25 years & still have a 250 Pinky - they are pretty bullet proof. Some of the very early models (84/85) had a weaker rear hub than the later ones (sprocket lugs shear off). Plenty of parts including NOS still around on ebay if you have the patience,...
