Re: New trials class in MA MOMs - air-cooled monoshocks

TY Pinkies were last made in 1991 and I understand eng #s were:

4AJ1
4AJ-000101
4AJ2
4AJ-001101

My TY in photo above is 1991.

I had Beta TR32 in UK all the other bikes including the TR34R here in Australia. I bought the TR34R direct from factory.

Re: New trials class in MA MOMs - air-cooled monoshocks

I've had Beta TR32, TR34, Fantic 305, Fantic 243, TY350S, TY250R & 2 TY250R Pinkies, one of which I still ride often ride in B/Masters Grade - TY Monos 86 onwards (once the rear hub sprocket mounts were beefed up) are just about bullet proof. Don't forget the Fantic 307 & 309's, JCMs, Mecate...

Re: Tiger Cub Square barrel eligibility

I went along to the Pre'65 Scottish this year - what a great event - 2 Days, 170 odd riders (event was over subscribed as always) (More entries than an Aussie Title all up) and plenty of great competition on Pre65 British (not Spanish, not Japanese) bikes in the Kinlochleven area of Scotland. AJS, M...

Re: Sealing tubeless rims

Should have asked Ron - what type of bike / rim do you have - modern type eg Morad or an older Akront ? - Is rim is good condition ? / any internal corrosion etc etc ? Here is the link for SSDT prep - read down to rear wheel seal - it's easy to do if you're still having problems - & easy to stil...

Re: Sealing tubeless rims

1) Thoroughly clean rim & degrease using a good quality contact cleaner. 2) Use a good quality silastic (Sikaflex) & seal entire rim. 3) Leave for good 24 hours before use. Refer to the SSDT prep on BetaUK website. http://www.betauk.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Good L...

Re: TY250R rear guard

All mono rear guards are the same moulding- except the Pinky is simply moulded in pink plastic. You will find that some may have holes in for lights (TY250S/N) where as some TY250R's wont.
