Re: Rear brake light switch for Sherco ST 250

If you're good welding or know someone who is. You could go to a bike wrecker and get the brake light switch mount from a busted frame and mount it to your bike. Drill a hole in your lever for the spring and viola, apart from the wiring. Alternatively, you could see if they have a bike with the hydr...

Re: Michelin X-11 rear tyre reversal.

Hi Rod, if you have a good look at the tread pattern of the Michies they are non directional. It's the same either way. Lots of upper grade guys turn them to wear the reverse side of the knobs and then replace the tyre.

Re: Basket Cases

Hi Greg, I am finding your scientific research into the effects of petrol on your plastic trials fuel tank a very interesting subject. I have a plastic tank on my old 1980 XR500. Granted it doesn't have any sharp bend type features apart from the usual side to base sharp curve... It is red plastic a...

Re: Old habits die hard

A great discussion topic Nikki. I began riding dirt bikes, then road, and now trials bikes. Although I never competed before trials, the habits do set in with your riding style. I used to use both index and middle finger on each lever and still do on the road. But my mate Craig suggested that I shou...

Fees explained

Hello all. A few days ago I was renewing my MA license and a mate asked where the costs come from. I remember reading a post somewhere explaining where our license fees break down and who they go to, but couldn't find it at the time and have lost it now... I was wondering if anyone who knows the det...

Re: TY250 silly questions...

Hi Jools, I don't have a TY250. However if I did and was going to give advice, I can see I'd be asking about the length of your rear hub spacers as asked before. Also a picture tells 1000 words. If you can post a photo of your parts on a bench etc, someone (like David TY Lahey) who have had plenty o...

Re: TY parts in Oz?

Hi Jools, some of the parts for my TY175 I have actually sourced from Yamaha. Other stuff evilbay and teatree also occasionally has some parts. Otherwise I have used trail & trials UK http://www.tytrials.co.uk with no regrets and also guards from VMX http://www.vmxunlimited.com. It is a pleasant...

My question now after reading what it is
"Why would you pay for something you already get for free? "
Oh wait, the bottled water industry is huge.....
