Re: Tyre Tubes for Twinshocks.

Hi
I have been running tubliss on two rims for quite a while now and love them. No pinch flat problems.
But as mentioned they comes an a price and are only really justified if you are hitting stuff hard and have ruined a few tubes with big pinchs.

Cheers

Re: Tank Dent removal - Other than cutting and welding

Hi David Man that TY175 tank was battered about but the end job looks great. I like your steel jug and the idea of lower pressure and heat. However the aluminium tank has a chunkier bottom seam I tried clamping on the seam and the softer aluminium distorted and I was afraid it was going to let go or...

Tank Dent removal - Other than cutting and welding

Hi Folks There was a bit of interest in this topic that came up in a different Topic so I thought you may give me some ideas before I resort to cutting my tank apart. My tank is a ty250 aluminium tank which I think is quite thick and fairly tough compared to the A steel one. Some people will say tha...

Re: TY250 Noise from Motor ??

Tat ty -- I had imagined what you experienced happening . Blowing up the cuff. I think I will give the cuff a miss now. thanks This dent in the tank is a tough one. I carved a wooden insert to go where the frame goes and so when you pump it up with air it does not expand into that cavity. I then put...

Re: TY250 Noise from Motor ??

Hi Pop Yes it is worth a try with a stethascope. I will try it. I was actually looking at buying a blood pressure cuff to stuff into the tank and try push out a dent in the TY aluminium tank. There was a kit with a stethoscope and a cuff on ebay. More reason to buy it now. However it may be hard to ...

Re: TY250 Noise from Motor ??

Hi David possibles that spring to mind kickstart lever moving away from the stop as you hit the obstacle -I have tied this up so the lever does not move and it still make the noise.
