Con Rods / kit - Aftermarket

Hi
My TY250E needs a bottom end rebuild. Yamaha don't have them.
Can anyone tell me what brands of connecting rods are good and what to avoid.

Thanks

Re: fitting tubeless Michelin rears to tube type rims

Hi I got an IRC sent from RockymountainATVMC in the USA. I was surprised the post from them from the US was cheaper than UK. All up it cost me from memory about $165_australian. I have always found Dunlop Tubless tupe a bit better to stay on but if its a skinney Ty rim it need the Tube type. Deliver...

Re: TY250 Forks Improvements

Hi Guys You can get Magical springs from France Trial Classic. However the guy knew nothing about the Damper rods. I found this post On Trials Central "The springs themselves are good but it is the whole package that makes the difference. If budget is an issue I would buy springs and damper tub...

Or another option for fork upgrade

Cheers

Re: TY250 Forks Improvements

Hi Guys Thanks for the replies so far. I had another ride today with the 10/W30 oil in the forks. Seems to handle the big hits with more control no bottoming out but take a bit out of you at the end of the day. Not ideal but i believe it is an improvement on the 12 w I had in the forks. Looking forw...

TY250 Forks Improvements

Hi I have searched forums and have not come up with a decision about my Fork setup. At the moment I have standard springs and have tried 10w to 10/w30 oil grades. I use 185mm oil per leg. Rear shocks are Betor. It is hard to control the bike on successive bigish obstacles. So I am thinking to buy tr...

Re: tubeless tyres

Hi There are several types of rims fited to ty250. I have two wide ones and two skinner ones. The IRC tube tube tyre is really good but last I tried they were not available. Anyone update on this? The wider rims take the tubless tyres pretty well. The skinnier ones are very hard to fit. However when...

Re: New Trials Helmets

Hi, These helmets are very good, and they are new into Australia. They have plenty of air ventilation and are light. http://www.kennyracing.com.au/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; After the video starts from opening the page follow these steps: 1- click on moto 2- then helmets 3- and ...

Re: Betor shock seals

Hi
I had a pair of Betor seals go after a few rides. Sammy Miller took them back and sent me a new set no problems.

I have also had the Betor shocks apart to straighten a bent shaft. Seal is not standard type and did not need to replace mine.

Cheers
