Commissioners comments.

Great to hear you will be around for another year Trevor, your updates are appreciated. The method the three commissioners have put forward is the long existing scoring method for tied scores, including tied Veterans placings, thanks for your clarification. A couple of items that come to mind that m...

Re: WHERE ARE THE GREAT TRIALS RIDERS OF THE 70'S NOW?

In Queensland two men that were always ready to get you were Denis Madeo when he made the trip down from Prosterpine and the other was Neville Derick, others were Mick Campbell, John Davies on their Bultacos, Neil Jesburg and Shane Grant. In the Trans Tasman of 1978 Peter Grinter was the reserve for...

Re: NSW MOTOTRIALS CHAMPIONSHIP. Is 7 counting rounds to many.

Paul and other forum members if I have given the impression that Coffs Harbour was not suitable as a Title round area, that is not at all what I was intending. The venue and the Trials that are held at Coffs Harbour are just as you describe Paul, it really is a must attend venue. Peter Foote and Gre...

Re: NSW MOTOTRIALS CHAMPIONSHIP. Is 7 counting rounds to many.

Stu,there is nothing wrong with MNSW Trials committees intentions, they are a very dedicated and experienced group doing a sometimes thankless job. I must say I did think there would have been more input on this topic. My post is in no way criticisms of Tony or the other committee members personally...

Re: NSW MOTOTRIALS CHAMPIONSHIP. Is 7 counting rounds to many.

Tony, thanks for your prompt reply. Unfortunately I still think you have not given the riders a fair program. To base your desicion for not giving riders a choice of not participating in such a long progam it unfair to them. As you point out the decline over the last few years has been very obvious ...

NSW MOTOTRIALS CHAMPIONSHIP. Is 7 counting rounds to many.

The proposed NSW Titles that are to be run this year is a big ask for most riders if the whole seven rounds are to be counting rounds. Is there any other NSW riders that have concerns of such a high number all counting round series. Over the last couple of seasons Queensland had held a series of up ...

Re: WHO IS STILL RIDING THEIR ORIGINAL BIKE ?

Well well well, look who has joined Trials Australia. Your attached pics of you riding that sidecar outfit shows exactly why you were such a revered competitor, the eyes tell the story, and even your grandson has the focus of that next challenge of the section you are about to tackle. You still are ...

Commissioners update.Great to see.

Good to hear from you Trevor. The brief summary posted on a few issues covers a broad range of competitors and I am sure is most appreciated by all who use this site. Your correct in stating the relivant penalty, Rule 23.7.3.2. in the 2008 MoMS states, among a list of infringements, “Riding over or ...

Hi Axel, On the Junior grading, these have just recently been added through the want of the vast majority of the trials community. These youngster are the future and this is the very best way to keep them in the sport with an achievable goal as they are growing up. The Junior and Senior Womens divis...
