Re: 2 stroke oil

I use castor oils(Castrol A747 and Maxima 927) in my methonol burning dirt track bikes so I did experiment with castor oils in my trials bike and found a significant loss in throttle response. Not going there again  I found the best results from 100% synthetic oils.

Re: Forks Clunking/Banging on Full Extension

Quick fix is to crank up the rebound.

The real answer is to check your fork setup and condition.

Forks are topping out.
Sounds like previous owner fiddled with them and screwed up bigtime.
Stock they definitely don't do that.

Grab the spare spots on the Jordi Pascuet Trials Training Camps. You'll be glad you did. All the riders over here had a ball and learnt HEAPS. http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff352/gasgasman-/SFX_0031.jpg http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff352/gasgasman-/SFX_0083.jpg http://i539.photobucket.com...

Re: Guidelines for section setting

Thanks for the input guys. The whole idea of this was to make it much easier for someone new to section setting being able to come in and put together a sensible section that caters for all the classes whilst also making it safe for the lower grades in case they make a mistake. Safety was my big mot...

Guidelines for section setting

Here's something I whipped up yesterday. Thanks to PA and Roger G for their input on this one thus far. The idea was to put together a workable set of guidelines so anyone regardless of experience could go and set of good rideable sections. Any further comments, additions, criticisms most welcome :D...
