Ok Guys, I must add to the Post I started after months....... of experience!! I’ve learnt two methods to stationary balancing. One of which falls in line with the above. But I have noticed that I’m sometimes better at one or the other method on different days. But I don’t know why this is. I agree t...

Hi Anstini.

“Eat into the levers” Sounds like you don’t break and replace many levers (like I do!! ) to me.

I’ve never kept a lever long enough to seen any "eating" just a bit of buffing!!. ^-=-^

Best of boulders.

Hi BJ, Yes I know Heath (of r2wtrials) as we’ve had a few email exchanges in the past. And I’d also heard that he’d bought HTB pegs too. So it would be interesting to find out how he thinks they are fairing up. No I don’t have the fat bars as I don’t like to pay the earth for what I’m buying. I also...

Thanks for your support (in more ways than one) Howard. 8) I suggested the Dexton because I thought I had a ton of the stuff. But I think I’ve been doing too many oil changes on GGG’s bike. As I'm down to my last bottle. The clutch on the Sherco was fine on Sunday morning. So I might check out the “...

Hi Montyman, Well it’s nice to know that I can have these melted down and turned into a new pistol after they’ve broken. But honestly guys, I wasn’t looking for anyone’s seal of approval. I was just rambling on about what I’d done to my bike yesterday. {-) If these pegs do break some time. Tha...

Hi, "Real" why wouldn't it be for real? Here the write-up on my pegs:- << These are top quality cast Foot Pegs. Cast in High Tensile Brass (HTB) to give extra strenghth and durability. These are not your usual gold anodised aluminium. HTB is a far harder wearing material with greater strength....

BINGO! - 280cc of 2.5 weight oil gives a great feel. Also ended up doing more than I bargained for at the same time. Turned up the tension on the rear shock (sits on it’s side stand nicely now) Fitted my new HTB (High tensile brass) foot pegs (got these while I was in the UK). Fitted my new blue ano...

Thanks Howard and BJ, I tired bouncing on the forks. I’d say it’s more like 30% than 70% so there’s work to be done here. There no adjustments at the top of my Paioli forks BJ. Just the 2 blue air bleeders. I used weight 5 fork oil, 330ml – is that the same as 330cc ? Assuming this is OK would weigh...
