That would be usefull, and I was thinking about a DT 360 front pipe, but maybe I not going in the right direction.

FM, what do you mean by passive silencing element, I don't think you are tinking '' stuffing '' like material. Please explain I am as bloqed as my TY pipe.

I think David, that your mind is close, the colour of the Yamaha logo look the same as the 76 model , Hi Hi, seriously my point is not that we should all '' transform '' our TY's into whatever that bike is, but what's the problem with making the ride fun espacialy for a non championship seeker like ...

Jon V8, you are partialy right. First if the sections in trial we have to ride ( here in Canada ) were like the section were in the 70's and not setup for late 80's to mid 90's bikes it would help, and if the suspension' s( tire and shock ) would be as they were in the 70' where you would spin the r...

I David The flywheel on a B model is heavier than the A model here in Canada and the porting is allso different, I removed the weight on my A model before I took it out of the basement so I can't comment on the difference with or without, but stalling was never a problem for me, yes it stall sometim...

Thank's Tat Ty, it will help me get the right port hight on the next motor ( and I will also setup the current one ) The 434 motor I curently use was quite unpleasant to ride at the last comp we ad, so I tried to adjust it, it seem's to be lean at low speed and was not picking up at all, I installed...

I found an aluminiun sheet that is mild ( pliable ) and is .006 in thick so I will make a couple of copy and make different test. FM 350 aren't you afraid when using silicone for a cylinder/head sealer that heat won't transfer from the head down? And finaly seem's nobody know's the original tickness...

Hi David ,

Shaving the head ( and reshaping the '' pot '' ) is the final goal, but I would like to test different compression before. The problem is head gasket material is hard to fine .
