Hi all after a great weekend 28 twin shocks 4 classics at the CQTC challenge , there was plenty of discussion regarding pre 65class. There must be a reason why they call it pre 65 . May be I could be wrong but there was only road bikes and the odd scrambler around before 1965 ,no purpose built trial...

JC1 i You cant expect a club to cater for a small class if where not supporting the club .If every club was to cater to one twin shock and classic trial a year that would be a start and then we would not be doing the same thing over and over. Take Denman NSW title two years ago 30 riders this year 5...

Hi jci the people who you are refering to, have not rode a classic trial in a number of years ,some havn't riden a classic trial at all .Most of the blokes in QLD that do ride pre 65 class havn't bothered with this thread . I find it a bit hard for a push to change from a bloke that does not ride or...

HI JC! who are you and where is your bike ,all year i"ve been hearing this crap,Join a club and get involved. WE have a set of rules .JUST turn up, that is the best thing we can do to keep this class alive

Hi all the CQTC is putting on a twin shock ,classic and heavy weight trial with sections catering for all classes.It will be on the 8th of Sep on my farm near Lowmead qld. directions are on the sub regs hoping to see there. WE need more events for twin shocks and classics hoping this is a start chee...

George ,hi i don't think by putting your bike in the shed is the answer either. Let poeple see these bikes working.This all started with can a 8 fin or 9 fin head would be ok to use ,I would want to use a 8 fin head if it ment my bike would run cooler, Talk about HI'JACKED But at the end of the day ...

hi all Royal enfield came out with 34.927 mm [inch and three eight ]in 1960. i have a set . The problem with these sort of forums some one writes something on here and it becomes truth. Out class is dieing a slow death ,i see in the UK classic's is growing and are creating industries to remake parts...

Hi geoff ,the reason i first got into classics and have only had three trials on them so far ,was watching you and steve johnston belt these old bikes though modern day sections,I now have two cubs and a c15t .I was dissappointed to see such a special class slowly get shelved,i watched the qld serie...

Hi all ,please leave me out ,i will just stick to Motor cycling Australia Manual of motor cycling sport. And i will just adjust my bikes to suit and ride the things in as many trials as i can . cheers tony bax

Hi all,thanks for your replys I know this is new for me classic bikes but addictive now have 4 ,its gotta stop.From what i've read this started, a alium barrel with 8 fins instead of 9, .So if that barrel had 9 finns would this be ok ,as per the rule23.5.0.4 .
