Iv tried most glues on boot soles, the only one that worked for me was superglue gel, but only if no other glue has been used, apart from original, which could be something similar. Has to be clamped for a day minimum.

never tried the ice method on a tank, only because someone did and blew out everything except the dent, even split the seams.

Children, you lot need to discover the benefits of a sliding hammer and hot melt glue, and a MECHANICS stethoscope , believe me you will never look back :lol:

Hi Pop Yes it is worth a try with a stethascope. I will try it. I was actually looking at buying a blood pressure cuff to stuff into the tank and try push out a dent in the TY aluminium tank. There was a kit with a stethoscope and a cuff on ebay. More reason to buy it now. However it may be hard to...

Have you used a mechanics stethoscope on it, you should be able to pinpoint it to almost the exact area as it will be probably be there all the time, if not you can put some load on it or simulate the situation , the scopes are quite cheap, even $5 on ebay

If im not riding for a trophy, then there is no need to go to a meet, save on travel, entry, MA licence,membership, and organiser saves on a $5 trophy, everyone wins??
