Have tried with the kickstarter on and pushed down to the foot peg? or the end bit of the spring is in the notch in the sleeve inside the spring

Probably just chain oil or spilt tranny oil? where is the breather from the tranny?

Yes, you will need a multimeter, start with the kill switch and test everything, google the values.

Thanks for the replies,sounds like any typical govt department... I don't think anyone can, the closest would be "jobs for the boys". People who seem to think they know more about bikes or cars then eg BMW, Mercedes, Honda etc.

Just get some new packing from any bike shop or pink batts from a hardware store, wire brush the core or re drill the holes out with a drill bit of the same size as the holes, then repack ,not too tight or too loose, can use tape to hold the packing in place when pushing the whole lot back in to the...

I once hit a hard branch from a trees stump right on the knee cap, doing about 20kmph, the pain was insane, haven ridden without knee protection since[gardening ones from Bunnings]
