Re: TS185 trials bike

If you cast your mind back David you may remember 2 trail bikes which used to compete in WDTC Trials a few years ago. One was Kevin Gloss on his CT 185 Honda and the other one was Tim Danneberg? on a TS 185 both of them were converted to a Trials format.

Re: GG Rookie / Cadet - Loud Exhaust

Hi Ben. It may pay to check the perforated tube in the silencer to make sure all the holes in it are unclogged. If it comes out just give it a good wire brush to clean it all up. If it`s really bad throw it in a fire for a while to get all the carbon off it. Graham.

Re: Virtual bike show

I saw 6 I think. I think the bike behind the Model 30 Norton is a rigid trials bike.

Re: Extra home workshop time

It is great that you can get the parts to fix things like that bent shaft. Makes thing much easier. Much better that trying to straighten the shaft without being able to pull it apart like we had to do years ago!

Re: Extra home workshop time

Well David I just mark some lines where I need it to be trimmed to and give it to my pet rat. He does a fine job every time! :P

Re: Extra home workshop time

That is how I`ve been doing it for years too David. I have put Tapered bearings in my three Sherpas now so I can just add some grease and put it together Mush easier!

Motorcycling QLD has done the same today. They have also stopped issuing and renewing Licences.

Re: Extra home workshop time

I have used Molasses on a Bultaco Metralla petrol tank and that worked really well David. I just filled the tank up and left it for a couple of weeks and then emptied it and cleaned it all out again. Worked really well without harming the pain on the outside of the tank.
