Re: sherpa t tranny id help needed

Hello ims6201. Graham here. Is the final drive gear you are refering to the one joined to the countershaft and sits in the bearing. If it is I don`t think there is a thrust washer on it. As far as I can remember the only washers in a Bully gearbox is the one on the kickstart shaft which goes on afte...

Re: Sherpa ?

Hello Terry. Graham here. The thing on trials central as far as I can remember was on the front wheel not lining up in the middle of the forks. I have looked at a lot of different model Bullys and none of them had the front wheel in the middle of the forks. Even the Metrellas and the TSS`s aren`t in...

Re: Basket Cases

Hello Greg. Why have you put the brakes on the wrong side, it would have to make them a bit vague wouldn`t it. It really doesn`t take long to get used to left side rear brakes and on Bultaco`s they are much more direct with left side brake and right side shift. It is probably the only thing the Poms...

Re: M49 Wins Twinshock Masters

Hello. Well done Greg! Just goes to show you what using a real twinshock does for you doesn`t it. Ross Brown`s M49 looks very good though it could use aluminium mudguards to look original. I wish I had of been there but I had to work, ah well. Graham.

Re: Bultaco reunion at Conondale 2011

Hello all. Just an observation here but Brownie it looks like you need to loosen the chain before you ride your Sherpa, it looks a bit tight. And David you soon get used to using your left foot for the brakes and the gearstick is on the correct (right) side. That is all. Bully Lover.

Just to let you Know that Hughs Bultaco had some metal float bowls for the Lectron carbs. I bought one a couple of years ago.

Re: Square Slide Dellorto and others for twinshock

Hello all. I thought I would also point out that in the US some of the Bultaco 199`s and the 199A`s came out with Lectron flatslide carbs on them. That was in 1978 and 1979. I also think the M191`s also had the Lectrons on them as I know the M194`s which is a MK 10 125 Pursang had Lectrons on them. ...

Re: Ossa 250mar Misfire

Chris, me again I forgot to say to put the condenser up under the fuel tank usually on the coil mounts is a good spot as it helps to keep the condenser cool. With the spark plug lead you can replace the lead by cutting it off close to the coil and soldering another copper lead on and use silastic on...
