Me Too - Richard R

Started riding trials in 1972 on a second-hand Yamaha TY 250. Rode that for a year or so then bought a brand new Ossa Mick Andrews replica 250cc and my skill level suddenly improved dramatically. My brother-in-law and my best mate and I would ride every weekend, pushing each others abilities more ea...

Practice your technique indoors

For those who are too lazy to go out and start the bike up to practice. . . go to the Scottish Six Day Trial website and practice your trials technique in a videogame!!

It looks pretty nasty in there and I would like to do a proper job if I am going to pull it all apart and clean it etc. What do I use? How much of it do I use and how do I put it in for the best results?. . . . and N...

Welcome back!

Hi, I have just returned to Trials riding after 30 years absence too. . It's the greatest fun and there's a lot of 'old farts' like me still i the sport or returning to it. Lots of people have remarked how much more relaxed it is than enduro or MX. You have a chance to stop and have a rest between s...

Tubeless Tyre Spoke seal

Thanks guys for your suggestions and responses. I will follow your advice and check/replace the seal tape and probably try the blob of silicone on the head of each spoke nipple too.

Air leak from spokes

I have just fitted a new tubeless Michelin rear tyre to my bike, and when they finally got the bead to seat, they discovered slow leaks from practically every one of the spokes. I have only had the bike for 3 weeks and I don't know if there is something that should be on the inside of the rim or on ...
