Re: 1994 TY250Z Advise / help required

Hi Colin I will comment on the bits I know about. I think your rim is 36 spoke, modern trial bikes use a 32 hole rim. if you want to run tubeless you will require a 36 hole Gas Gas tubeless rim from the late 90's laced to your rim. It's a common upgrade done on a lot of older bikes, and really the b...

Re: When was the last Scorpa/Yamaha 2 Stroke

it was 2008 for Australia. 2009 there was very few two strokes produced and they all went to Europe and England. (Birkett got a few, France the majority). Scorpa were basically non producing by Feb that year.
The white tanked, blacked rimmmed 08 models will be the last ones you will find in Australia.

Re: Wiiiiide boots

We sell Alpinestars, Forma, MOTS and Hebo boots at The Hell Team The MOTS are the widest closely followed by Forma, then the new Alpinestars, and then the Hebo which I would call a medium fit, not a wide fit. But all are leather uppers so will stretch across the width of the boot with wear. I used t...

Re: TXT 80 fuel ratio

Start with this Luke Needle position. The needle clip should be in the leanest spot (Highest groove) Pilot jets (std is 50). 45 jet is better, but still a tad rich 42.5 is much better and gives a good plug chop with most riders 40 is too lean Main Jet: Should be 100 Paul Arnott Gas Gas Motos Australia

Re: New from Japan

Just make sure you remove the top filler cap on the radiator as well when you remove drain plug.
Also you can wire up the Thermo switch either way as it is just a tool to complete or disconnect the circuit. It does not have to be polarity dependant. The fan does, but the thermo switch doesn't.

Re: Which Boots, Gaerne or Hebo?

Both very good boots. Gaerne are lower - not as good shin protection, but fit fatter calves because they are shorter. Gaerne have a very gummy Vibram sole, grippy but it does wear out faster. Hebo soles have reinforced rib section in arch area to protect against slapping down against footpeg when ki...
