Looks like record entry for Peter Sparkes Sidecar Trial

Postby AndrewT » Mon May 23, 2011 9:11 pm

Only 2 weeks to go until the prestigious 37th Peter Sparkes Sidecar Trophy Trial at Tungkillo SA hosted by AJS Moto Trial Club (Rounds 3 of Beta Trialsport SA Series) on Sunday 5th June

Trial Manager Roger Greenhalgh has been out planning sections with commitments from 17 sidecar teams so far & always a strong solo field at one of SA's best trial venues - Fully catered (proceeds to Heartkids SA) - Observers & an all day ride.

There will also be a training camp on the Saturday with camping permitted.

Interstate teams (solo or sidecar) are most welcome - property is close to Murray Bridge - it's well worth the trip.

Entry forms on http://www.ajs.asn.au

Well done guys that's fantastic - a quick look at the 'old country' results says they only get 8 or 9 entries for the Champs and not much more for smaller events.

Well over 70 entries have arrived and they are still coming in, with several new riders - great to see !

Full day ride on Sunday - weather permitting (yes forcast says it will be wet & windy) 5 laps of 12 sections.

Training camp is going ahead tommorrow to brush up your skills & camping overnight if you are really keen - bring plenty of tent pegs as you will need them.

Entries will still be accepted on the day - but please do the right thing & call Brenton Wundenberg 0418815223 if you are going to enter on the day. One day Rec licences will be available (you will ride for no awards on Rec Licence).

Please be there at 8.30am if entering on the day.

Breakfast & Lunch BBQ available - with proceeds to Heartkids SA

Nip Kuerschner has also organised a classic bike display

Always plenty to do on the day to keep things running smoothly - so volunteers always welcome.

Follow signs from Tungkillo Hotel - Main Birdwood to Mannum Rd

See you all there.

:D
