After many days fighting a few idiots who insisted on swearing and abusing others via the comments section in the Scorpa article, I have decided to remove the facility entirely.

I apologise to the 99.9% of readers who found this facility useful and used it correctly, however since I can't be online 24x7 and have no method of automatic moderation of comments I have to remove it.

It is a shame you had to do that. I had been noticing the comments, particularly as they thankfully vanished. I see nobody making the comments bothered to go into the forum and have a proper say. At least if they try it in the forums you can boot them before they do any harm.

“Swearing and abusing?” – hard to believe as I didn’t see any myself. Must have been late last night?

I think is was a subject worthy of discussion but not worth offending anyone over.

Well done Keith.

Best regards.

Right, that's it, the comments are gone for good. [-(

Too many sleepless nights worrying about what might be there in the morning.

So now you'll all have to discuss a given news article in the message boards.

- create a new topic with a heading similar to the news article, and away you go.
