HI all. I am looking at purchasing a trials bike in Melbourne and shipping to Cairns to ride up here. Does anyone know what the costs of freight might be and who might be able to arrange. Many thanks for any assistance:)

I had a bike sent up from melbourne to brisbane a couple of years ago and it cost $150. I would get in contact with NQX freight systems on (07) 3275 0400 or north qld freight on (07) 3118 5985. They should be able to give you the info you need.

It depends weather you mean temporary import or for a short stay or permanent. You can pretty much forget about permanent import, as a bike from Australia do not conform to the local specifications. You might want to take a look at BRI international freight forwarders in Australia and they'll ship you your items.
