Show us a picture of your Twinshock or Classic Trials bike
I see some wonderfull original and restored twinshocks and classic trials bikes at local trials events in Queensland.
I thought it would be a good idea to ask all you guys Australia wide that have a piece of trials history in the garage to show us a picture of your twinshock or classic trials bike and a brief story of its history.

Re: Show us a picture of your Twinshock or Classic Trials bike
Here is one of mine. A Bultaco M199B. There is a long story behind this bike as it was the only M199B in Australia for a lot of years. This bike was privately imported from England in late 1981 or very early 1982 and it was first ridden in Northern QLD and then in trials around Brisbane. The engine and the forks were then taken out and put on the owners home made monoshock frame as well as one he made for his son using a M158 engine. He also had made a lot of other modifications to this bike, moving the back upright frame tubes to move the top shock mount forward, Fournale air shock absorbers, aluminium airbox and silencer and very early Brembo disc brakes on each end. He then put a M151 engine and forks onto this bike. I bought it in late 2006 and took the disc brakes off it. I have since done a lot of other work including steel brake liners, moving the bottom shock mounts forward, late model footpegs and moving the footpeg mounts back and down. Graham.

These lovely couple of bikes are the latest restorations by Col Phillipson.
I suspect that there wouldn't be too many of these late model Cota 123s around.
As for the Bultaco Sherpa T there wouldn't be very many of that model around either. There's a high-five for whoever gets the model designation correct first. I know I got it wrong.
If the photos are upside in your browser, sorry about that. We are on the bottom of the world after all

The Sherpa looks like a model 124 wearing an earlier model front guard, or is it a mod 132 (cancelled model) ?

It is rather hard trying to look at upside down photos on a PC David. Even my cat was looking at me and miming, what the hell are you doing fool!!!!! Very nice Sherpa though. Nicely done Col. Well done Rod as well.
Re: Show us a picture of your Twinshock or Classic Trials bike
Restored this Sherpa many years ago, before I started riding at Denman. Organised the number plate with year model.
Sold it to a bloke here is Newcastle who intended to proudly ride it to cafes to meet up with his mates.
After this picture was taken I managed to restore a set of original rear shocks. Was a beautiful bike
Sorry about reflection on image, only pic I have is in a frame.
