New rules for Classic Trials?

Postby Stu » Wed Nov 15, 2006 9:52 am

Have the MA come up with any new rules for the Classic Trials? Do the non-stop rules apply? Are there any time limits to ride within the sections?

Stu

What non-stop rules???

Does this mean I have to back off the brake adjusters even more??????

I can hardly stop as it is!

Stu, there should be no need for a rule change to run trials as No-Stop.

All that is needed is to mention in the Supp Regs for the event that Classic and Twinshock classes are to be run to No-Stop rules and remind people at the rider's briefing.

Have a look in the current MOMs. The scoring for No Stop is laid out beside the scoring for Trials (normal rules) and Super Trials (can ride backwards).

If you want a no-stop event, talk to the people who are likely to be riding the class and if enough people want it, negotiate with the club running the event.

David, I phoned Col from the Denman Club (NSW) and he has filled me in on the rules. Thanks for your comments.
BJ, why use brakes? I find something solid and bounce off that to the end of the creek, hill, logs, cars, trailers etc.
