YSS seems to be getting a great rep among the VMX guys. They're made in Taiwan to Walter Presig (used to run Technoflex) specifications. Big range of shocks with an enormous range of lengths and travel-lengths, so I'd imagine that you'll easily find something suitable.

I don't know if they do any shocks "off the shelf" with trials specific valving, but they can be revalved and you choose which springs you want when you order them.

I'm a bit vague on the exact prices and model codes, but (for my 4" rear travel VMX bike), I was recommended a pair that was around $600. The guys I've spoken to who have them reckon they're great.

Mark,
Get hold of Griffo to find out where he got his Falcon shocks from, they are rebuildable too.
Cheers,
Roger

I would rather push my twinshock than ride a modern!

Rock shocks are back on the market in the uk!!
Probably the best you can get (Exspensive) but completely rebuildable and fully adjustable too.
A cheaper alternative is Betor available from Snezzy Trailaports in Belgian
(recomended)

I got my Falcons direct from UK. NJB make trials shock absorbers and are also in the UK and they are cheaper than the Falcons but are not rebuildable. Cost of post from the UK is high but does work out quite a bit cheaper.
Cheers

NJB'S you can forget!! ok if your into dissposable shocks had a couple of pairs on a cub didn't even see me the season through, absolute junk!!

What you have to remember is buy once and keep them maintained they will see you a lifetime

Currently using BETOR very good, from Eddy Mormann in Belgum?

It's ok for us in Europe I know..........but worth the money any day!!
I'll see if I can get a price to Oz if you like?
