Majesty frames now available for TY250 running gear

Postby David Lahey » Sun Apr 01, 2007 11:10 am

At last Craig Mawlam has started making Majesty frames for TY250 twinshock running gear using the frame jig which was used to make them in the early 1980s.
A few years ago, Craig bought the leftover Majesty gear from the manufacturing operation run by John Shirt (the JES in Majesty).
The builder this time is Mick Whitlock who is another famous UK trials bike frame maker from the 1970s and 1980s.
From the photos on Craigs website the 250/320 Majesty frame appears to be the final Godden version dating from 1982/1983.

Craigs website is http://www.yamaha-majesty.com

For people who want a full sized Majesty but to suit the TY175 motor instead of the TY250 motor, have a look at an earlier topic on this forum for details of kits available from Jean-Marc Henrion at France Trial Classic.
