No idea about the TY350N but the local guy's tin-tank TY250S? with all the blinkers and whatnots already there cost about $1600 to get registered the first time in Queensland. Of course that got him an ADR compliance plate so next year it just cost the usual yearly rego fee.
TY250A is dead simple up here because it is pre 1976 (pre ADRs). No blinkers or battery required. I think the headlight needs to be two beams and there needs to be a working taillight and brakelight and horn all of which are standard on TY250A anyway. The cost to the owner is just the rego fee and the "roadworthy" (green slip to southerners and "over the pits" to some others) provided they get everything working.
