Re: Show us a picture of your Twinshock
First photo of the 1976 KT 250 A2. Got it home and pulled the barrel off to fix the broken exhaust stud. Problem was on closer inspection it was a broken tap. Got the local engine reco guys to grind it out with a tungsten carbide bit. She is up and running again. Waiting for my swag of goodies from Fred to start the restoration.

On ebay, it belonged to a (long since closed) Suzuki dealer down here in Tassy and resided in someones collection for about ten years, proly paid a bit much for it but it's neat, original and unrestored, my wife loves to ride it and I hope to do some twinshock competition on it one day

Mark, that bikes looks similar to you old mount, did you buy it back?
That was the one from P.K. in the Quokka?
Looks good to with the WES muffler, good to see you are back on a twinshock too!
Cheers,
Roger
I would rather push my twinshock than ride a modern!

Re: Show us a picture of your Twinshock
Hi all, 1st post and all that...just stumbled on the forums.
I used to ride a KT250 in club trials around Sydney in the early '80s. It was the first bike I bought, and I'm very pleased to say I still have it.
I'd like to be able to display a "before and after" but, alas, at this stage it's only a "before".
I dragged it out of the garage today for these pics. I haven't ridden a trial since about '84??? I guess and actually the bike hasn't been ridden really much since then, apart from being started a few times in the early '90s.
I'll start another thread to pester you guys for info on the resto.

Those TLRs looked like a spaceship back in the '80s, especially when parked next to the KT. Nice bike, you've chosen wisely.
