I took a fair bit of video at the 2000 Aussie Titles at Thunderbird Park, Mt Tamborine, Queensland, while recovering from a busted knee and thought that there might be some people wanting to see themselves or others who rode the event. The DVD is 75% Twinshock/Classic but because Women's Class and Sidecar class shared the sections with Classic and Twinshock there is a fair bit of them too, and some upper grade stuff at the end, including Don Murray riding the first model (all silver) Scorpa SY250 and some pretty wild Open class gravel hillclimb stuff at the quarry there. Sorry I couldn't recognise any of the Open Class riders
Here are the riders I recognised on the DVD:
Mal Chapman Majesty 250
Craig Gillies CZ125 classic
Paul Smith TY250D
Robert Leggatt Honda special classic
Scott Irrgang TY250A
Ron Chadwick 2T classic
Rowan Gibson 2T classic
Chris Leighfield Tiger Cub classic
Darryl Martin white and blue SWM
Scott Colllins Sherpa T 198A
Lauren Rolands Techno (womens)
John Barwick KT250
Ross Grimsey Sherpa T 199A
John Isherwood TY250C
John Daly TY250A
Jeff Hill Honda RS200T
Bev Anderson-Tranter Techno (womens)
George McKenzie Cota 349
Graham Watt Cota 349
Simon Price TY175
Paul Gollagher Cota 248? maybe 242
Unknown rider Cota 248
Unknown rider 4T heavyweight rigid classic
Unknown rider 4T lightweight classic polished alloy tank
Don Murray on the silver Scorpa
All the sidecar teams
Observers for the main section I filmed were Vern and Averil Grayson. Some of you may remember Vern from 1970s sidecar MX using Yamaha XS650 motor machines. Vern and Averil helped out at the trial returning the favour for some of us doing flag marshall duty at the 2000 Aussie VMX titles at Cherribah.
There is some conversation on the sound track between myself and George McKenzie's brother Micheal. Listening to it again today, I realise that a lot of what I tell Michael about the bikes we are watching is total codswallop. Oh well. If I blanked it out it would lose the bike noises too so sorry about that. The spectators must have been quite a polite lot because when Ross Grimsey falls off on something pretty easy - no-one even laughs! Amazing.
Anyway if anyone wants a copy, let me know and I'll burn them off and post them for the cost of postage and a blank DVD whatever that is.

Hi Ross
Just watched Davids DVD. I can't believe you let you're dopey brother start the Trial for you. It looked like the Ross Grimsey I remember once you took over. Are you still riding?
Cheers
