Freezing our tails off here in the northern states, winter storm comming, time to bring the brass monkeys in off the lawn.
Good year/season for the RL, ran well and carried me most anywhere I wanted to go.

Better freezing than having half your country either on fire or sweltering through heatwaves like us!
Will be a good year for my RL - once finished it will be back doing what it does best after sitting for over 10 years! I'm just looking forward to riding it - when I bought it I rode it around the backyard just to confirm that it worked, then pulled it apart. A few minor jobs to go and it's back in action!

Thanks Guy. Its amazing that you get to see the Aussie version of summer on your news in Canada. Are they showing the bushfires, high temperatures, hailstorms or the cyclones, or all of it?
relax, nothing is under control

Been seeing the fires and hearing of the heat, here in the USA, I feel for the poor folks having to endure that. We had the same, last summer, within a couple of miles. We were getting ready to evacuate and had the structure protection trucks parked in our driveway. They got the fire stopped at a road, thanks to the hard work of the firefighters, of which 4 died when their plane crashed.

They show us on the news part of the disaster and until lately they where saying that the situation was confine to Tazmania, but it seem's that a big part of Australia is affected.
Again I hope the worst is behind all of you.

Hey hey.
It's Westy here. I couldn't find my old password and the email I used for it hence made a new account.
Here's some news. The bike that this thread is based on has been totalled! A while ago I sold it. It was bought by a guy who was a bit odd. Not the type of person who would be in the market for a bike of any kind.
If you look up on youtube the kaptain risky commercial for budget direct you will see that my perfect RL250 was used as a failed stunk and was ridden into a bus. How depressing.... heartbreaking....
Anyhow, it was sold.
That said, I am selling the moulds I used to make replica guards.

I've got a bunch of other stuff I am putting on ebay also.
See ya.

I am selling the plugs and moulds used to make new mudguards. Of course, I won't be needing to make any spares.
The moulds used in this restoration thread.
