Brooweena Trial

Postby Any2wheels » Mon May 30, 2011 8:53 pm

Just wondering if the Brooweena Trial was on for 2011? What does it take to be a part of this event?

Damian more details about Brooweena should emerge soon but I have heard that it will be held on the first weekend in July (riding Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning).

Will there be another 'David Lahey Productions' DVD this year?

Hi Stu
Those DVDs sure are a fun thing to look back through years later.
Most of the video on the DVDs so far has been taken by Pat Van Heerden, Tharyn Thomas, Wendy Lahey, Robyn Eckert, Leonie Treagus and some by me.
If you can get footage of the riding this year I will happily put it on DVDs.
This year I probably wont be at Brooweena, due to having arranged a family holiday somewhere else before finding out when Brooweena was on.

Hervey Bay or Burrum Heads are nice at that time of year - apparently

What? There's somewhere even colder than brrrrrrrooweena????????

Last year was my first time there and as I drove into the property I could see in the distance a huge pile of really ugly logs with tape around them and my first thought was there's no way I'm riding over that!!!!! It was only as daylight faded and any hint of warmth vanished that it got lit and I really appreciated just how good that fire was.
