Yes I did. Having two Ross Browns riding twinshock trials must have fried my brain.

Nice one brownie. It is my favourire part of the movie 8) and has even motivated me to practice wheelies on the M49.
My M49 motor is almost run in now and is running very sweet. It seems to go well both with the triangle muffler and without. Am currently working on getting the brakes going well. Have ended up with the new ape hangers as they definitely give the best feel and handling.

Ross I suggest you ride Clubman Twinshock not just so we can ride together, but also because Open Twinshock is usually set at a level a bit higher than B Grade at Denman. I think Open Twinshock would be too much for me to enjoy the riding on my M49. I'm riding non-competitive at Conondale because that is the rule for graded riders wanting to ride Clubman line in Qld. I am pretty certain that the Open Twinshock will be too severe for you. Maybe Greg will read this and give an opinion too. He usually rides the Open Twinshock at Conondale.

I'm sure you can change your entry to Clubman Twinshock, but if you wait till the day of the trial it might be a hassle for the organisers.

The M49 preparation is in full swing for Conondale next weekend. Here is Darcy cutting the tits off the front tyre. I've never bothered doing this before, but for some reason the front tyre keeps picking up stones and dragging them along the inside of the front guard and I suspect the tits are part of the problem. Maybe all my bikes do this and I'm only noticing it because this is the first bike I've had with a (very noisy) aluminium front guard?
The other photo shows off the beaut new handlebars

I have a theory on this. I suspect the cause of this is that you keep riding on ...... stones. I believe that if you ride on clean smooth flat grass, like at the local bowling green, you shouldn't have any problem with it.
