Hi All, I agree with JC1, it is important to keep the politics out of this thread. Opinions and discussion on the bikes is OK but eligibility issues should be off limits. The CZ 150 twinport in the photo's was a plunger version with a home made swingarm added by Ray himself.(I have the plungers here at home that were lopped off by Ray!) He was an aircraft engineer and had access to the equipment to do this sort of work. Remember that these sorts of modifications were routine in the era as the bikes, particularly CZ's and older, cheap two strokes were worth almost nothing 2nd hand back then. CZ did produce a swingarm version of the 150 themselves, however these are very rare. You will note the exhausts exit into a large pipe just in front of the down tube as it was thought that the gasses should empty into a large "Pong Box" asap for low down power! Who knows? As for the Aermachi, it is important that people love the bike they ride whether it is good or bad as long as they are having fun, yeah it looks goofy but is probably hilarious to ride! I have lots more photos but they are on other storage devices and I will have to learn how to retrieve them so might be a while. Forgive some of my spelling. Has anyone some good photos of the Jawa trials bike getting around in Queensland as I love these engines but they are way heavy.
Regards Geoff

My son riding the Vibsa. The engine is a 32A as it has an ID. Stamp verifying. I bought this engine from my friend Kevin MacIntyre ( Now sadly passed away) and apparantly the chap he bought it from rode his Greeves in New Guinea and had to leave the chassis there and only take the engine when he moved to Aus as they wouldn't allow the whole bike on the plane!

More great pics thanks Geoff. Nice Vibsa.

What capacity is yr wife's twinport?

Here's a couple of a 150 rigid at SSDT, 1952 I think

Followed by a later model 250. Geoff, can you identify what frame this might be, with single backbone tube right down to swingarm? (the blue-tanked one)

Hi All , The frame of the blue CZ looks a lot like a model 964 or 968 frame with the seat tubes lowered slightly and the bottom tube cut and skid plate subtituted (This seems to be a common mod in Europe and England). The swingarm is typical of model 470 or such though, as the original would have been round tube and the engine is either a 455 or 475 or variation there of. The 964 would be a very rare bike here. Where was the photo taken? Somewhere in Europe I would guess. My wifes twinport is 225cc courtesy of an overbore and PE 250 piston.
Regards Geoff.

Geoff there are at least two trials CZs up in Qld. One is a big twin-port owned by Bill Aland and I'm trying to find my photo of it. When I saw it last, it had one exhaust port blinded off. The other is a tele-rigid 125 owned by Craig Gillies, who has won at least one Aussie Title on it (at Thunderbird Park so probably 1996). I have a photo of Craig's bike somewhere and am still looking for it.

I've ridden in two Classic trials events in the UK over the last two weekends with a total of 155 old Brit bikes rasping around the various properties, I feel like I'm living in the 60's.
Here's a few more to admire from these events.
Cheers

No Roger, that HT is a different one, this latest pic is of Ken Wallington's recently finished bike.I don't know how much it weighs, but all I can say is that it feels lighter than my stock TY250 Yam.I've picked it up to see just how light it is.I can hardly pick up one end of my HT...
It uses lots of trick bits, lots of titanium etc, very nicely done.

The twin port CZ that JC1 posted a photo of taken at Conondale, and with name plate "Rob Wager" is the Bill Aland bike that I mentioned previously with one blanked port
