Yes good question - we in the OMCC are trying to find out who has the sheets.

I'm hoping it's Dave Ryan, but I know he was staying down there for an extra few days.

I hear that Alex Colemen had a helicopter ride? Does anyone know what happened there?

Congratulations to the OMCC and any associated with the organisation of the Glenmaggie Trial. Great location, great participation with hordes of kiddies and bikes of all shapes and sizes. A real variety of terrain and interesting, challenging sections. Huge loop of eight kilometers tests the fuel economy of the bikes, but makes spectating not for the feeble. Is Australia's best trial for riders!
Thanks OMCC and the land owner.

P.S. I don't quite know what happened to Alex Coleman, but I heard he came off in a big way on a hill climb of no small proportions. Wish him speedy recovery.

Well I've checked with Dave and no joy on the results sheet.
Someone must know!

Anyone take a photo of the board? :?: :?:

Alex - he had a big fall on Saturday, section 10-ish I think. From what I heard got out of control on a long steep downhill, thumped into the ground at the bottom and hit the 'bars, causing a few injuries. Cracked ribs, maybe his wrist, and something internal. Pretty serious I believe. Get well soon Alex.

i was the observer on the section alex had is fall and by fall i mean monster crash... coming down one of those steep slippy hillclimbs glenmaggie is known for, fairly fast, front wheel hit a rock at the bottom which twisted the handlebars round and he copped them straight in the stomach

latest report that dad got from VIC was that he had some spleen damage, was under observation in hospital and will make a full recovery

Hey its Alex
I got out of the Alfred hospital in Melbourne today after spending 2 days in intensive care and 11 days in the trauma unit. Im starting to walk again slowly however my injuries hold me back from doing any physical excerise for more than 6 months. I crushed my pancreaus, split my splean in half, fractured ribs and fractured sternam. I was airlifted down to Alfred from Sale hospital.

Thanks for your wishes
