Minder / Catcher

Postby Promo » Thu Oct 23, 2008 10:33 am

Hi All,
I was unable to get to the 08 Aussie Titles but i have heard a number of reports that our current Aussie Champ, Colin Z, was the only rider in Open Solo not using a minder or catcher.

Is this true?

If so, how awesome. I am very impressed as i have seen video footage and it looked like a hard trial with good sized obstacles and a high level of precision required, especially without someone yelling at you, "inch left" or "big effort".

Good work Col in displaying such a high and consistant skill level in our sport. Good luck for 2009.

Hey Promo you are indeed correct !

Confidence in your own ability at its best.

His professional attitude to his sport along with lots of training on and off the bike shows every time he competes.
This is the first year he has switched to the Sherco 4T and has still showed great form right throughout the season. You can bet he is only going to improve his grip towards title # 5 as he becomes more familiar with the bikes characteristics.

Steve.
