Hi All,
I've posted images of my restored 1976 Montesa Cota 348 MRR here previously and was contacted by Rob Gough, who is a thorough gentleman (as you all probably know already) and we've been talking since late last year off and on. Through his personal knowledge of the Montesa Cota 348 MRR his late brother, Jeff Gough, won the 1977 Australian Trials Championship on. Today I've had it confirmed by Rob that my bike "is 100% confirmed to be" that very bike. I'm a bit overwhelmed at the significance of this revelation.
How fantastic!!!!

Re: Historic find
I've spent so much time and care on restoring it I don't want to damage it (my best manoeuvre is falling off) I have an old 1986 TLM200 for that!!

Re: Historic find
I'm looking for any photos of Jeff Gough on his 1976 Montesa Cota 348 MRR and/or winning the Australian Title in 1977 on it. The comp. was held at a place called Claire between Geelong and Ballarat in Victoria.
If anyone can help I will be very grateful?
