2011 beta shock rebuild

Postby MAG66 » Fri Nov 17, 2017 1:18 am

I have a 2011 EVO 290 rear shock that the shaft seal has let go and leaking out oil .
It appears to be a sealed non rebuildable unit
Has anyone here know if it can be successfully rebuilt or is it ready for the bin?
What other options are there for this model on a budget?
Thanks in advance
Mark

Mark,
Try RAD Shock Repairs in Yeerongpilly. Rod will give you advice as to whether it can be rebuilt or not.

Thanks TerrY
I gave Rod a call and sounds like it can be rebuilt
around the $190 mark
