I'm ready to do the colour painting on the TL125 tank I've repaired for a friend and need help finding a supplier for the red and the silver.
I'm told the silver is called Honda Silver and the red is called Shiney Orange.
The photo shows a TL125 with the desired paint scheme.
I've found paint suppliers in the UK and the USA but paint is dangerous goods so they won't send it.
The only colour references I have are a repainted TL125 tank and photos from on-line sources.
If I was sure of the repainted tank colours being right, I would get paint mixed to match them.

Re: Honda TL125 tank colours
My info was Honda used a colour called Tahitian Red.
I just took a sample down to the local industrial paint crowd and they mixed up a pot for me.

I have an unblemished TL250 tank David. I can take it to a paint shop to get a match if you would like. You'd need to be specific on paint type and quantity.

Thanks Alastair. That would be excellent. I'll get info from my local paint shop about how to go about a remote colour scan

If that doesn't work out David I can simply have some mixed and post it to you.

All you need is the paint code. In this case it's R23

Do you know which paint system that code is for? The shop here can make paints using PPG and Dulon systems

No idea with those brands of paint.
I just took the daggy old tank into my local fella and said I want R23.
He sorted it on the spot.
