Get a bag of Bradford Insulation Soundscreen. Pick the one that has the thinnest sheets inside.

This is Rockwool (spun molten rock). We use it in our fast KTM Pro Senior two stroke 50cc minis that get very hot.

The Minitrial engine is the air-cooled KTM 50 used in the Mini Adventures and Juniors and also shares the same engine case etc as the Liquid cooled pro senior. The silencer tube is also shared by these bikes - so I know first hand that this will work for you.

About $50 gets you a lifetime supply of the insulation and is cheaper than the KTM preformed fill for that bike.

Cut a sheet of the wool using old scissors to a small rectangle. Wrap around the baffle tube. Get some painters paper masking tape and wind around in three places. Stuff back in the silencer tube and re-assemble.

Suggest you use stainless cap head allen screws and use a dab of loctite to secure the end cap.

DO NOT USE the pink bats or similar fibreglass stuff.
