Peg Snap! – Weldable?

Postby Neo » Mon Sep 08, 2008 5:49 pm

Hi All,

Some of may have seen my post in the wanted section.
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3925

But I’m just curious to know if something like this can be welded up again. I know there are some types of Aluminium that you’re not supposed to weld. And I’m sure it will be a lot weaker. But I’m just looking for cheap temporary fix….while I save for some new pegs. :(

Best of balance.

Get someone to Tig the peg because if you tig it instead of welding it,it would be alot stronger. This type of Aluminium is very easy to weld because it is not a cast Item. If it was Aluminium cast it would have impurities in the cast and it would be very difficult to Tig
