I recently picked up a "TY clutch" at a boot sale but its pretty clearly not A-D twin shock as its too big.
The part no for the basket is 498 16311 C2.
Can anyone tell me what TY's ran 498 part numbers? Maybe an aircooled mono?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers

Re: yam clutch's
I just looked up the Speed and Sport Yamaha model and part number prefixes and it shows 498 prefix as being DT250B.
Maybe you can work it what the go is there with your clutch if you have a look.
I googled "Yamaha ID" to find the Speed and Sport website.
Be aware that the number reference printed on or cast into any particular Yamaha part does not necessarily mean that the part with that number came from the bike model that has that same ID number prefix. Yamaha is brilliant at economising on parts manufacture by sharing parts in common between many models but it can get a bit confusing if you only have the part number that is on the part to go by.
