Very low mile well cared for and it has sat un-ridden for several years.
When I got it out to play with I noticed the clutch would slip in the higher gears under acceleration so I changed the clutch plates.
Now the clutch feels perfect but there are no gears other then first, The shifter moves up like normal just dosent change gears,

very likely that the shift mechanism was disturbed in some way when you worked on the clutch. Could be the spring that centres the shift lever is broken or not in the right position, or something else on the shift mechanism out of place or jammed. If RLs have a plunger to index the shift drum did you remove the plunger cap for some reason? Maybe the hooks that rotate the shift drum are not sitting correctly

Thanks David, you were right, the shifter shaft was in the wrong place when the side covers were removed to replace the clutch plates.

It was an easy fix and she is back on the trail. =D>
