SOLD...2002 HRC Honda 250 RTL
I’m not too happy about this, but I have to sell my 2002 HRC Honda RTL. I bought this bike from Paul at The Hell team in January with the best intentions of riding it. I’ve always lusted after a proper Honda RTL and this being a Japanese import, it is the real deal. Unfortunately and old injury has stopped me from riding and my right elbow just can’t do it any more.
I spent a lot of money on the bike, getting it looking and working nice, which should show the good intentions I had, but it wasn’t to be.
The bike owes me a tad over $6k after all the parts I’ve put onto it, but I know it’s not worth that, so am asking a reasonable price, despite taking a hit!
The brand new parts are as follows:
Renthal bars and pads
Front and rear brake rotors and pads
Front front guard (plastic)
Rear brake guard (carbon…not the fake stuff)
Front and rear wheel bearings
HEBO auxiliary fuel tank
Chainguard- rear- (carbon…not the fake stuff)
front sprocket guard
Dogbone linkage (CNC alloy)
Float linkage (CNC alloy)
I also have all the parts I took off the bike, which will be included in the sale.
Now I’m not going to say the bike is “rare” and all that, but it is a bit special in so much as 99% of these bikes were of course branded as a 315R Montesa. This is a proper Honda HRC model, which you can confirm with Paul at The Hell Team, as he sold it to me as such.
I have all the receipts for the parts I bought, if you want to see them, as well as heaps more pictures of the specific bits of the bike. Any questons, please get in touch. Thanks. Russell.
