Stolen Yamaha TY250C
I got home last night after the TY Challenge and left my bike on the trailer because it was late after a big day, yes stupid in hindsight, but I had the trailer hard up against the side fence and reversed up to the double gate to my back yard. The bastards still managed to take it. Very sad, only just getting into trials, my first event was yesterday and I loved it! I haven’t got the funds to replace it, won’t find another one like it and it wasn’t insured! The TY was in great original unrestored condition with brand new tyres fitted. Can’t upload a photo because I can’t reduce it enough. Sad day!

Bugger! Lousy lowlife thieves.
Describe it in detail so if it turns up we might recognise it. We need pics though, find someone who can reduce pic size.
Or if you PM me I'll organise to do it for you.

Hi Tim,
Sorry to hear that, seriously bad luck. Was good to meet you yesterday, hopefully it turns up and you can come riding again soon. Be sure and file a police report.

Re: Stolen Yamaha TY250C
Thanks for posting that photo David, yes the only difference was lights were removed, homemade sharks fin with bracket welded to the swing arm. Brand new IRC rear tyre fitted and brand new Michelin front tyre fitted, Ballard’s Pivot Assist clutch lever, widened standard pegs. Thankfully my Falcon shocks hadn’t arrived yet so still had stock suspension. VIN 493-101979. Reported to police and posted on Facebook etc.

Re: Stolen Yamaha TY250C
It was stolen from Bray Park, Brisbane Northside. My street is not a through road, carries very little traffic and is generally a very good neighbourhood. I have never left my bike out on the trailer before. We got home in the dark, so it seems it was just an opportunist that happened to see it. The grubs worked hard to get it out of the trailer without a sound. I was very attached to this bike, I only told someone yesterday that I’ll have it forever. I had an awesome day at the TY Challenge. Great people, great event, beautiful country to ride through and lots of Trials bikes what more could one want!
